The Tick and Arthur take Dot and Chet to the county fair where they end up against a pair of wannabes who want to be trained by their idols. Doyle, the man who originally created Arthur's super suit, won't tell them about it unless Tick and Arthur agree to be his mentor. Art and Doyle settle their dispute over skee ball. The Tick and the guy that is dressed like the Tick try to catch a runaway pig but Arthur's girlfriend comes to the rescue. Arthur uses his skee ball tickets to win a prize for Chet rather than to win his bet with Doyle so Tick and Arthur end up with a pair of proteges.
