“It Started on {~/;){ Street”

The Thing #15 drops Ben Grimm and a red-haired woman in a purple costume into what looks like an alien street bazaar, the two of them braced for trouble beneath a dramatic spotlight while a crowd of bizarre, exotic figures watches from the shadowy colonnades on either side. Ron Wilson and Joe Sinnott pack every corner of this cover with strange creatures and ominous architecture, giving the whole scene a wonderfully otherworldly atmosphere. "It Started on [alien script] Street!" promises an adventure that's anything but earthbound, and 1984 Marvel readers were clearly in for something wild.
