The Theater #[nn]
☆ Be the first to review + Add to your collection — Join freeA young blonde woman in a red skirt sits alone in a darkened movie theater, surrounded by decaying, clawing creatures pressing in from every side — while a towering cloaked figure looms ominously over the rows behind her. Artgerm's cover art is genuinely arresting, balancing the girl's wide-eyed vulnerability against the encroaching horror with striking detail and color. Zenescope's 2012 release pairs that unsettling image with "The Change," a story brought to life by writer Raven Gregory and artists Robert Gill and Novo Malgapo.

Tim's wife has left him after he has caught her cheating on him multiple times. As he lies in bed, Tim notices a hole in his bedroom ceiling. When he investigates, the other side seems to be a void and not his attic as it should be. Things that go into the hole disappear and don't come back. He hatches a plan for his wife, but there are unintended consequences when his daughter visits. In the framing sequence, Parker and Jan have sex in the theater when it is their night to close the theater. Jan is concerned that Cindy may know what is going on.
