The Strange Talent of Luther Strode #6

The finale of Justin Jordan and Tradd Moore's six-issue series closes on a striking image: a brooding, blond Luther Strode seated at the center of the cover, head bowed and holding a dark helmet, while a dense crowd of desperate, reaching figures swirls around him in shades of deep red. Felipe Sobreiro's coloring gives the whole scene an almost hellish warmth, perfectly matching the intensity of a story arriving at its end. It's a genuinely compelling send-off cover for one of Image's more visceral series from 2012.
