The Six Fingers #1

Dan Watters and Sumit Kumar launch this unsettling Image series with a cover that sets the tone immediately — a lone silhouetted figure stands before a narrow blaze of white light, surrounded on both sides by grasping, clawed hands emerging from dark, dripping trees. Lee Loughridge's burnt-gold palette gives the whole composition a fevered, almost hallucinatory warmth that makes the reaching hands feel all the more threatening. If "In The Gaps" is any indication, The Six Fingers is shaping up to be one of 2024's more atmospheric horror offerings.
