The Silencer #3

Part of DC's 2018 "New Age of Heroes" initiative, The Silencer #3 continues "Code of Honor" with a cover that delivers an immediate jolt: the Silencer herself, armored and cool-headed, presses a gloved finger to her lips in a chilling "shh" gesture while holding a large firearm — all while a bloodied, wide-eyed man lies bound and helpless beneath her. It's a striking composition by John Romita Jr. and Sandra Hope that establishes the Silencer as someone utterly in control, no matter how messy things get. Dan Abnett's series is shaping up to be one of the more compelling character studies to come out of this DC era.
