“I'll take you to your daddy”

In "I'll take you to your daddy," The Shadow steps into a darker, more personal conflict as Jimmy Gray intervenes when the Mayor's secretary is attacked by Barney The Bat's thugs. With Peter Chapman handling art, inks, and letters, the story unfolds with a rare emotional weight and intensity, culminating in Barney's desperate plea to rescue his kidnapped daughter from "Roscoe's Gorrilas." The Shadow’s mission takes a sharp turn into danger and moral complexity, all rendered with Chapman’s distinctive, gritty style on the cover and inside.
