Rick Remender's gleefully irreverent Image series reaches its tenth issue, and the cover — credited to Bergara and Dinisio — captures everything you need to know about the premise in a single unforgettable image: a tattooed, sunglasses-wearing wreck of a human being slumped against a crumbling wall, surrounded by broken bottles, syringes, and scattered debris, somehow still radiating a deranged sense of cool. The tagline says it all — "the world's fate rests with the worst person on it" — and this cover makes a compelling, darkly comic case for exactly that. If you've been following this series, issue #10 looks like a thoroughly satisfying continuation of one of 2021's most brazenly entertaining comics.
