The Ray #26

Part two of the "Time and Tempest" arc arrives in this August 1996 installment, with cover art by Jason Armstrong and Drew Geraci that promises exactly what the tagline delivers — "The Dark Side of Light!" The Ray, glowing in his gold-and-white costume, clashes dramatically against a dark, shadowy figure wreathed in churning black energy, the collision of radiance and darkness filling the entire cover in a swirl of explosive force. It's a visually striking setup for what writer Christopher Priest and artist Jason Armstrong have in store for the arc's second chapter.
