The Punisher #220

Part three of the "Punisher: War Machine" arc finds Frank Castle armored up and absolutely formidable — Clayton Crain's cover depicts a massive War Machine suit, skull insignia prominent on its chest, surging forward through a crumbling war-torn environment with multi-barreled weaponry raised and a repulsor glowing with intent. Sheltering behind the armored figure are two civilians, the rubble and dusty ruins around them suggesting a conflict zone far from home. Matthew Rosenberg, Guiu Vilanova, and Lee Loughridge bring a gritty, grounded energy to this 2018 Marvel Legacy chapter that makes it clear Frank Castle's one-man war has just gotten a serious hardware upgrade.
