Perched on an ornate street lamp high above a nighttime New York City skyline, Spider-Man casually reads a copy of the Daily Bugle — the headline proclaiming "NYC's Most Powerful People" — with the Bugle building itself looming in the background. It's a wonderfully composed cover by Mike Mayhew that captures the tension between Spider-Man's world and the world of journalism at the heart of this series. Brian Michael Bendis and Mark Bagley's "Thin Air" arc reaches its third chapter here, promising more of the street-level intrigue that makes The Pulse such a compelling corner of the 2004 Marvel universe.
