The Omega Men #1

The Omega Men make their 2015 return with one of the most striking #1 covers DC published that year — a stark, two-tone design by Trevor Hutchison featuring a snarling, fanged alien face looming out of near-total darkness, framed by the word "BEWARE" stamped in bold across the middle. The raw, hand-lettered title and deliberately unsettling minimalism signal right away that this is something darker and more deliberately crafted than a typical superhero launch. With Tom King writing and Barnaby Bagenda on interior art, there's real creative ambition behind this one.
