The October Faction #5

Steve Niles and Damien Worm's supernatural horror series reaches its fifth issue with a cover that drips atmosphere — two pale, sharp-dressed figures stand amid a moonlit graveyard, a open coffin bearing a skeletal corpse at their feet, while a bat-winged candelabra, a vandalized gravestone reading "Unholy Little Boy," and a watchful crow complete the eerie scene. Worm's artwork bathes everything in cold blues and flickering candlelight, making the cemetery feel genuinely unsettling rather than cartoonishly spooky. If you've been following this IDW series through 2015, issue #5 looks like a darkly rewarding place to be.
