Night Man tries to prevent Teknight, a giant robot controlled by J.D. Hunt and son, from breaking Apocaloff out of jail. To accomplish this he gets unexpected help from an unknown hooded man across the street. Later he learns his helper is actually his father, Eddie, who knew his son was the Night Man all along. Johnny wonders if the note he got from Rhiannon is real and whether she’s actually still alive.
