The New Adventures of Superboy #10

Two red-caped figures in identical Superboy costumes face each other in mid-air above a rooftop, with the cover caption teasing "double trouble" in "The Town That Time Remembered!" — and one of them wonders aloud what it means to meet himself coming back from patrol. Kurt Schaffenberger and Dave Hunt bring a genuinely unsettling symmetry to that encounter, and the fun doesn't stop there: Krypto the Superdog, cape and all, anchors the bottom of the cover with a bonus story promising he'll become "The Super-Watchdog of Smallville!" Two complete adventures for fifty cents made this 1980 issue a real treat for young DC readers.
