The second issue of BOOM! Studios' The Neighbors opens with a cover by Miguel Mercado that is quietly, effectively unsettling — a pale-haired figure in a studded jacket and plaid skirt stands smiling in a doorway, framed by a dark forest beyond, while ghostly hands press against the glass panels on either side of the door.
