The Necromancer #2
In "Something in the Way Part 2," Abby’s desperate attempt to summon help backfires catastrophically when she awakens a demon that kills her parents and friends—only for the dead to begin speaking to her. Overwhelmed and terrified, she unleashes unexpected pyrotechnic powers, burning down her home and the approaching police before collapsing. Waking in a holding facility, she’s questioned by a military colonel who then leads her to a church where something far darker is already in motion. Written by Joshua Ortega and brought to life by Francis Manapul’s striking art—penciled and inked with intense precision—this issue blends raw emotional dread with escalating supernatural tension, all underpinned by Brian Buccellato’s moody colors and Troy Peteri’s sharp lettering.
