“When Six-Guns Roar”

In "When Six-Guns Roar," Rawhide takes a job at the Bar-M, swearing off his weapons—only to be forced to reclaim them when the Bolton Gang, backed by the traitorous Hogan, launches a brutal raid. Written by Stan Lee and brought to life with dynamic energy by Jack Kirby, with inks by Dick Ayers and lettering by Artie Simek, this classic Western tale captures the tension of a man torn between duty and his guns. The cover, a striking piece by Gil Kane, perfectly frames the showdown that follows.
