From Image Comics in 2020, The Marked Volume One: Fresh Ink introduces readers to a world where body art is clearly more than decoration. Brian Haberlin's cover presents a striking young woman whose arms and torso are covered in intricate, densely detailed tattoos — skulls, roses, and shadowy imagery woven together — while a glowing third eye marks her forehead, hinting at hidden powers bound to ink and skin. Colorist Geirrod Van Dyke bathes the composition in an eerie green light that gives the whole image an otherworldly, magnetic pull.
