Ram V and Filipe Andrade's meditation on mortality continues with this fourth issue of The Many Deaths of Laila Starr from BOOM! Studios. Andrade's cover art is striking in its stark vertigo: enormous bare feet descend from above, pressing down toward a vast rocky chasm at the bottom of which a small, curled human figure lies — the scale between the two conveying something ancient and quietly overwhelming. It's a haunting image that perfectly captures the series' ongoing dance between the divine and the mortal.
