The Ludocrats #2 delivers exactly the kind of delirious, eye-popping energy its subtitle promises — "Heroic Acts of Viscera Diving and Gigantipede Stimulation" — and the cover makes good on every word. A gruff, helmeted bruiser barrels through a chaotic explosion of objects — rockets, pills, a giant syringe, a grenade, a hot dog, and what appears to be a tiny companion with a rabbit — all rendered in Stokely and Bonvillain's vivid, candy-bright palette. From Gillen, Rossignol, Stokely, Bonvillain, and Cowles, this 2020 Image Comics series clearly has no interest in doing anything halfway.
