The Lone Rider #9

The Lone Rider investigates a scheme in which a man attempts to poison him with tainted water, then later encounters rustlers stealing cattle from Mrs. Cox's ranch near the hills of New Mexico. In a separate story titled "Devil Riders," the Lone Rider responds to Mrs. Cox's call for help against rustlers who have been stealing her blind and terrorizing her men, with her foreman threatening to hang the captured rustlers.
