The Lone Rider #7

The Lone Rider attempts a daring rescue when a young woman named Cliff becomes trapped on a mountain after her horse bolts at a stampede pace, and a hermit named Slate tries to reach her but cannot control his mount. Swift Arrow gathers his warriors for battle against encroaching enemies, using his shield as protection while his men charge into combat; the warriors retreat after being outnumbered, but Swift Arrow vows they will regroup. Days later, a hostile tribe meets with Bruce Brower and appoints him as leader, planning an Injun attack against settlers in the territory. The Lone Rider receives word of the raid and races to warn the settlers and intercept the attacking warriors before the planned stockade assault.
