The Lone Rider faces double trouble as he rides the vengeance trail against enemies including a fierce Native American warrior known as Yellow Wolf, who organizes a war party of soldiers to raid and capture the "strange animals" (camels) in the Lone Rider's possession. Swift Arrow, a Native American ally, helps the Lone Rider defend against the attack, but Yellow Wolf succeeds in stealing one of the prized camels and escapes with his warriors. The issue also features a backup story titled "Drums of Hate" and another called "Donkey Luck," as advertised on the cover.
