The Lone Ranger #128
☆ Be the first to review + Add to your collection — Join freeThis 1959 Dell issue finds the masked man in a tense, low-to-the-ground moment — the photo cover shows the Lone Ranger prone in the dirt beneath a wagon, black mask fixed and rifle trained, every muscle coiled for action. The cover copy sets the stakes plainly: ruthless outlaws and renegade Indians threatening settlers as the Lone Ranger guides them westward in "Wagons West." It's a great snapshot of the era's TV-tie-in Western comics, with that unmistakable white hat and red bandana making the hero instantly recognizable even at ten cents a copy.
