The Light #3

The third chapter of Nathan Edmondson and Brett Weldele's five-part series delivers one of its most visceral images yet: a figure consumed from within, brilliant orange and white light tearing violently through his face and skull while a dark, misty treeline looms behind him. Weldele's painterly style makes the contrast between the cool, shadowy blues of the figure's body and the savage warmth of that erupting light feel genuinely unsettling. If the first two issues of The Light have you hooked, "Company" promises to push that dread even further.
