Several people with occult knowledge or sensitivity are alerted when Charles Blackwater is killed by Reeve Calder. Blackwater successfully defended Calder against federal charges stemming from his cult, but learned too much about the cult to remain alive. The cult then brings Fin Fang Foom back to life, fulfilling an ancient prophecy.
