History

The character La Rosa Blanca was conceived and trademarked by James Kuhoric, president of American Mythology Productions, with the copyright dated 2024. The project was crowdfunded via BackerKit as part of the Comictopia 2024 campaign (July–August 2024), with the stated goal of funding creator payments and printing costs. The story was fully drawn before the crowdfunding campaign concluded, and it subsequently entered the direct market through Diamond (originally solicited for January 2025 under Diamond order code JAN251355), eventually shipping in April 2025; it was later re-solicited through Prana and Lunar Distribution as American Mythology rebuilt its retail presence following Diamond's collapse.
