From BOOM! Box comes the fourth chapter of this enchanting dark-fantasy series, and the cover alone makes a strong case for why The Last Witch has been turning heads. V. V. Glass's artwork places two figures — a red-haired young woman and a second figure opposite her — mirror-like across a glowing, radiant centerpoint, their hands reaching toward a burst of light framed by an intricate circular labyrinth pattern, all swirling in prismatic blues and iridescent hues. With Conor McCreery's story "The Trickster" and Natalia Nesterenko's luminous colors lending the whole issue a sense of wonder and unease in equal measure, this is a visually arresting entry in what's shaping up to be a genuinely compelling series.
