George Jetson proudly holds up a compact gadget, promising a panicked red alien creature that it'll "clean your house in one minute flat" — while the alien protests it's flattening his house and cleaning him out, as flying saucers and household objects tumble chaotically overhead. This 1996 Archie Comics entry in the Hanna-Barbera series captures the show's signature blend of futuristic optimism gone hilariously wrong, with cover pencils by Scott Jeralds and inks by Scott Awley giving the scene a lively, bright energy. If George's gadget salesmanship is any indication, "The Firing of George Jetson!" promises plenty of space-age comedic misadventure.
