“Cometman in New York”

In "Cometman Breaks the Grog Racket," the superhero Cometman confronts a criminal conspiracy involving racketeers flooding New York with illegal alcohol while corrupt politicians protect them. After a man named Cyril tips off the operation to Cometman, the hero battles the gang, disarms gunmen, and uses his strength to lift a truck and destroy their equipment by throwing it into a river. The story concludes with Cometman pursuing the fleeing criminals and the capture of the false Cometman impostor being taken to a lonely spot near Flushing Bay by the racketeers' henchmen.
