The Infinite Loop #1
A confident young woman with striking auburn hair steps forward through a luminous white loop — a portal-like ring that frames her against a swirling field of teal and violet energy — setting the tone for what promises to be a time-bending sci-fi adventure. Published by Glénat in 2015, this French edition is subtitled L'Éveil ("The Awakening"), with the full creative team of writer Pierrick Colinet and artist Elsa Charretier, whose cover work here is both vibrant and immediately inviting. If the visual energy of that opening image is any indication, The Infinite Loop is the kind of series that pulls you in from the very first glance.

Working for the Brigade, an organization which polices the timeline, Teddy eliminates anomalies created by time paradox forgers - terrorists who deliberately manipulate the timeline. Lately she has been finding anomalies that are living, rather than inanimate objects, such as a Tyrannosaurus Rex she encounters in 1964. After an uncomfortable incident in which fellow agent Ulysses makes a pass at Teddy, she avoids him for days but calls him while on a mission in 1970. His equipment indicates that she should be seeing an anomaly nearby, and she does - a beautiful purple-haired woman.
