Phil Noto's cover for issue four of this six-part Image series is quietly arresting — a bare-chested man with closed eyes leans against a pale, washed-out background, the painting's soft warmth doing nothing to hide the weight of exhaustion on his face. Gerry Duggan and Noto's The Infinite Horizon has always balanced intimate human vulnerability against a larger, grueling journey, and this image captures that tension beautifully.
