Issue three of Image Comics' The Hive delivers one of the series' most unsettling covers yet — a blood-smeared wheelchair, overrun by flies and crawling with a dense swarm across its mesh backrest, hangs suspended against an eerie golden void. The image is quiet in the way only truly disturbing things can be, letting the infestation and that single crimson drip do all the storytelling. Lieberman, Henderson, and Azpiazu are crafting something genuinely creepy with this 2025 series, and this cover makes a compelling case to stay on board.
