The Haunted #1
"You've had the dream, right?" kicks off a chilling mystery in The Haunted #1, where Desiree’s unsettling vision of her classmates wielding occult powers turns terrifyingly real. As she races to uncover the truth behind her dream, she and her classmates are ambushed by shadowy figures in gray—only to be saved by a mysterious old man in an overcoat who was already in her vision. Written by Peter David and brought to life with moody, atmospheric art by Nat Jones—inked by Kevin Conrad and Rich Bonk, colored by Todd Broeker, and lettered by Jimmy Betancourt—this issue blends supernatural dread with grounded suspense. The cover, also by Nat Jones with Kevin Conrad, captures the eerie tone perfectly.
