“Dead Ringer”

In "Dead Ringer," a plane crash in 1952 leaves Hubert Newton as the sole survivor, inheriting the identity of the deceased French heir Victor de Murrain and taking up residence in his family's castle. As Hubert settles into his new life, the enigmatic Fate grows uneasy with the transformation—and begins to test him by summoning the ghosts of the Murrain family. Mike Sekowsky’s art and Mario Rizzi’s inks bring a haunting, atmospheric tension to the tale, while Jim McLaughlin’s cover captures the eerie shift in identity.
