This Dynamite Entertainment series puts the Green Hornet in genuinely perilous territory, and the cover drives that home with striking visual economy — a masked figure sinking beneath dark, murky water, tangled with what appears to be a large shark, bubbles trailing upward as they struggle in the deep. John Cassaday's cover art renders the underwater scene in cool, atmospheric greens that give the whole image an eerie, suffocating weight. Writer Brett Matthews and artist Ariel Padilla bring the interior story, but this cover alone makes a compelling case for picking up issue #2.
