“The Master Plan”

In "The Master Plan," the Green Hornet faces a chilling convergence of past and present as Paul uncovers a disturbing entry in Britt I's journal detailing a long-buried act of violence. Now, in The City, the teenage gang known as the Supreme Liberation Front (SLF) erupts into a high-stakes showdown with the city's most powerful racketeers—only for the Hornet and Kato to intervene, leading to a tense confrontation that ends in tragedy. Written by Geoffrey White and illustrated by Rich Suchy, with inks by Thom Zahler and vibrant colors by Holly Sanfelippo, Todd S. Tuttle, and Andrea Albert, this 1994 issue delivers a gripping, morally complex chapter in the series' ongoing saga. The cover, by Patrick Zircher and Phil Moy, captures the intensity of the moment.

In Britt I's journal, Paul reads of a nightmare where the first Hornet kills a German soldier under 17 years old. In The City today, armed teenage boys threaten as the Supreme Liberation Front (SLF). Both the Hornet and the SLF crash a conference of the City's top racketeers. As armed racketeers rush in shooting, the SLF flees. The Hornet and Kato trail them and when Charles states he is about to execute the City’s mayor, the Hornet swings in through a window. Though this disrupts the terrorists, Charles manages to kill the mayor. Afterwards, Kato berates the Hornet for his carelessness.
