The Friendly Ghost, Casper #216

Issue #216 finds the world's most famous ghost in a playful mood, happily floating above a canoe while clutching a yellow paddle and cheerfully rewriting "Row Row Row Your Boat" — much to the bewilderment of the very real person actually sitting in the boat below him. It's a charming, lighthearted snapshot of Casper at his most endearing, turning an ordinary summer scene into something delightfully ghostly. Harvey's 1981 lineup doesn't get much more inviting than this warm orange cover full of good-natured fun.
