The Friendly Ghost, Casper #115

Harvey Comics' beloved friendly ghost is at his mischievous best on this 1968 cover, where Casper comes rocketing out of the water in a spectacular splash, a whole armful of colorful fish tucked against him — much to the bafflement of a fisherman in a nearby rowboat who's clearly wondering what just leaped past his line. It's the kind of warm, lighthearted charm that made Casper a staple of both Harvey Comics and Saturday morning TV, and issue #115 promises more of that same good-natured fun with "The Adventure" inside.
