From Dan Wickline and Phillip Sevy comes this unsettling second issue of Image/Top Cow's The Freeze, and the cover makes an immediate, visceral impression: a bloodied, severed hand rests among ordinary grocery store shelves stocked with everyday products, blood dripping down to the price tags below. The mundane-meets-macabre juxtaposition — violence intruding on the banal routine of a supermarket — perfectly captures the series' chilling tone.
