The Fox and the Crow #72

The Fox and the Crow are up to their usual mischief in this 1962 DC humor title, shown here in the middle of a wallpapering project that's gone gloriously sideways — the Fox stands on a stepladder admiring a painted woodland mural while the Crow, perched up in one of the painted trees, slaps on more paint with cheerful abandon. With a worktable, paste bucket, and rolls of paper scattered about, the whole scene has that wonderfully chaotic domestic comedy energy that made this series such a delight.
