The Fox and the Crow #45
☆ Be the first to review + Add to your collection — Join freeDC's beloved funny-animal duo is up to their usual mischief in this 1957 issue, with the Crow running what appears to be a very dubious hat shop — "C. Crow Hats" — as a bewildered Fox sits on a stool clutching a straw boater. The Crow looms behind a counter with a large mallet raised high, cheerfully promising to "make the hat fit the head or — the head fit the hat," which says everything you need to know about the con at hand. It's the kind of delightfully absurd gag that made The Fox and the Crow such a fun fixture on the DC humor lineup throughout the 1950s.
