The Forged #8

A radiant, blinding figure dominates the upper half of this striking Image cover, rendered in brilliant whites and golds, while a second character — blue-haired, wide-eyed, and awash in cosmic hues — gazes upward from the lower right against a starfield backdrop. Gear motifs ghost through the background, hinting at the series' mechanistic mythology, and the cover's taglines promise dire stakes: a character named Phobes, malevolent machinations laid bare, and a desperate fight to keep Victory alive. Mike Henderson's linework, colored beautifully by Nolan Woodard, gives this eighth chapter from Greg Rucka and Eric Trautmann a genuinely cinematic tension that makes it hard to put down before you've even opened the cover.
