Vertigo's creepy-crawly series reaches its fifteenth issue with a cover by Philip Bond that stops you cold: two grotesquely detailed, mirror-image cockroaches face each other in an almost symmetrical embrace, their segmented bodies and spiny legs interlocked in unsettling intimacy. Writer Simon Oliver and artist John Lucas continue "Lies of Our Fathers: Chapter Three," promising another chapter of the mature, squirm-inducing storytelling this series does so well. If you've been following along, this is exactly the kind of deeply weird imagery that keeps The Exterminators unlike anything else on the shelf.
