“Hell's Hitman, Part Three: A Night on the Town”

John McCrea's cover for issue #44 captures Etrigan the Demon in full snarling fury — yellow-skinned, red-caped, and visibly thrashing through a shower of debris and shattered stone — while a second demonic figure looms behind him in an equally savage clash of infernal energy. Garth Ennis and McCrea were clearly deep in their stride on this series by February 1994, and "Hell's Hitman, Part Three: A Night on the Town" promises exactly the kind of chaotic, hell-soaked mayhem that cover delivers. If you've been following this run, this one looks like it keeps the momentum going at full tilt.
