The Darkness #6
☆ Be the first to review + Add to your collection — Join freeThe Darkness looms large on this striking December 2003 cover from Top Cow/Image, with Jackie Estacado's armored, supernatural form front and center — green-and-gold exoskeleton gleaming, shadowy tendrils spreading wide behind him as he grips chains that hold two massive, fang-filled Darklings at his flanks. Dale Keown's cover art is beautifully rendered, with Matt Milla's coloring bathing the scene in a smoldering amber haze that makes the creature designs pop with genuine menace. Paul Jenkins and Keown were crafting some of the most visually ambitious work in the series at this point, and this cover captures the raw, commanding power of the Darkness mythos in full force.
