The Crow #8

This 1999 Image Comics entry in The Crow series features a hauntingly atmospheric cover by Simon Davis — a pale, dark-haired figure in a tattered jacket stands with one arm outstretched, wind-whipped hair framing that unmistakable white-painted face, while a murder of crows erupts into the stormy sky behind him. The painterly, watercolor-washed artwork gives the whole image a raw, elegiac quality that suits the series perfectly. With Jon J. Muth and John Kuramoto continuing "Touch of Evil Part II" and interior art by Michael Gaydos, this issue promises the brooding intensity the title does best.
