Fantagraphics launched their Complete Crepax series in 2016 with this handsome volume subtitled Dracula, Frankenstein, and Other Horror Stories, collecting Guido Crepax's darkly elegant takes on classic horror. The cover, drawn and inked by Crepax himself, perfectly sets the mood: a stylish woman in a striking green patterned dress stands at center, flanked by two looming, faceless dark figures beneath an array of animal skulls — sophistication and dread in perfect balance.
