Rod Rian of the Sky Police and his friend, Andres of the Moon Squadron, leave on a mission to investigate air piracy against space liners which Elmus, Commander of the Sky Police, sent them on. Their ship is attacked and they are overcome. Unconscious, they are taken away by men resembling the common devil concept of red skin and two horns on the head. These are Mephisians, but that is not revealed until the next issue.
